BERLIN (CP) - Montreal's Valerie Grand'Maison broke her second world record in two days on Friday at the German International Championships, a 28-country competition for swimmers with a disability.
She lowered the mark in the 200-metre freestyle in the women's S13 classification for the visually impaired, clocking two minutes 12.46 seconds.
On Thursday Grand'Maison broke the 400 individual medley world mark in the women's S13 category for visually impaired to 5:29.92. She was also the fastest in her category for the 100 butterfly final.
Grand'Maison was Canada's most successful swimmer at the world championships last year with five gold, a silver and a bronze.
